About Me :
My name is Dr. Nooshin Fotouhi. I was born in 1975 in the city of Roudsar. Life led me toward using my intelligence and abilities in the pursuit of knowledge, and medicine naturally became the path ahead of me. I was the only daughter in the family, and both of my brothers became doctors. My father was deeply passionate about medicine, and his greatest wish was for all of his children to follow the noble path of healing.
It felt like destiny for me to become a physician. At the time, I didn’t even question whether I wanted to be a doctor—because I saw my father’s wish as a command, and following it was my duty.
In my very first attempt, I was accepted into Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran with a national ranking of 57. But after a year of being away from my family, I transferred to Gilan. The seven years of medical school were anything but easy.
Sleepless nights, intense and stressful shifts, watching a patient pass away despite all your efforts to save them… and then the indescribable joy of saving a life that made all the exhaustion disappear.
Those years taught me that being a doctor takes courage, love, compassion, and selflessness. I learned that medicine comes with immense responsibility and that a single moment of negligence could cost a human life. Yet in the midst of all these challenges lies a deep inner satisfaction—a joy born of love that only medicine can bring.
The joy of seeing someone heal… a fellow human being who carries within them the breath of God.
When we become a source of good in the world, we feel fulfilled, and life becomes more meaningful. It is the doctor who gives meaning to the title—not the other way around—and can shape a new, purer definition of what it means to be a physician.
In 2003, I was accepted into the ENT and head and neck surgery specialty program, and I completed my four-year residency at Gilan University, graduating in 2007.
Now, after 25 years of practice, I can say wholeheartedly that I love what I do. I am grateful to God, my parents, and the universe for guiding me to this path and for blessing me with the joy and fulfillment that comes from a life of service.
I’m here to support you—whether it’s through aesthetic transformation or medical treatment—and I truly hope this website becomes a useful resource on your journey to greater health and confidence.
